For freight requiring temperature-controlled transportation, DDS provides access to refrigerated equipment along with the coordination, tracking, and communication needed throughout the shipment.
When timing or transportation requirements call for another approach, DDS can coordinate expedited freight shipping through hot shots and sprinter vans, along with intermodal shipping, cargo container transportation, and domestic and international air freight capabilities.

Cargo insurance coverage is based on the value of the commodity being shipped. Shipments moving through our asset-based capacity can be covered up to $10 million, while shipments moving through our brokerage operations can be covered up to $1 million, depending on the value of the freight.
Yes. The entire DDS Solutions office, as well as the team at Axis Warehousing, is hazmat certified through Carrier's Edge, providing training for the handling and transportation requirements associated with hazardous-material freight. DDS does not handle ammunition or radioactive material up to Category 4.
